Serah hopped up onto a seat next to Ace to listen to his explanation.
“Interesting…” She leaned her cheek on her hand. “That would explain why I don’t remember you… Not many people can remember things from their first year.” She giggled.
“Though, it doesn’t explain why no one ever even mentioned you around me. You’d think they would…” Serah sighed looked off in thought.
“I guess Mom probably had her reasons. I never actually got to know Dad very well” She looked back up to Ace and gave him a small smile. “I don’t know exactly how much you know of what happened to our family…. But, One thing you should know though, in regards to our sister, is she doesn’t like to be called Claire anymore. Her name is Lightning.” She giggled lightly. “She’d probably punch you if you call her that.”
“I’m glad to have helped you out, even if I didn’t actually know about you~” Serah moved to prop herself up a little higher on the chair, sitting up on her knees. Why was everyone always so much taller then her!?
“And, I’m also glad I got to meet you!” She smiled happily.
ace only chuckled. “well aint that funny” he smirked. “lightning…..no one im called the booming thunder” he kept drinking. “
“but anyways tell me about you” he smiled. “when did you become so fine girl” he chuckled and winked at her ruffling her hair.

“actually yes” he smiled walking up to her. “one i need to know where a bar is so i can get a drink. and two i need you to point me in the direction of serah and claire farron” he stood tall and yawned a bit.
Serah smiled kindly to the man, and was about to point him the direction of a bar she knew of, not that she really ever went there. However, his second request caught her completely off guard.
“h-huh?” She blinked. “Um, well, I’m Serah Farron…. I don’t exactly know where Lightning is at the moment…” Serah looked at the man very curiously. Hardly anyone knew Lightning’s real name, if she had to guess, she’d say she was the only one. How would this guy know something like that?
“Who are you?”
he laughed. “well im ace farron” he showed his tags. “and im your older brother” he began walking to the bar. “but that can wait i’ve been on a long journey and i need a drink to wet my whistle he smiled still. “oh and common ill answer any questions after i drink”
“w-what!?” Serah looked at him rather wide-eyed.
How is that even possible? No one ever told me… As much as she was doubtful of this man’s identity… he had already given her some pretty good evidence that it was true.
What harm could there be in following him? If he’s is telling the truth…
Serah stopped standing there stupefied and followed close by Ace.
“Alright… But, If you are my brother… Why don’t I know about you? As far as I knew it was just my sister and I…..”
he sighed and pulled his sword off his back leaning it against the bar as he sat. “guess the best place to start is the begining” he ordered a soda. “when i was about 5 claire being 3. dad injected me with a one of a kinda super soldier drug to enhance all my abilities.” he sipped. “later the when i was 7 you being 1 and claire 5 i was taken away and forced into a special program started by dad to create the perfect soldiers…….horrible things happened……i broke…i fixed….and i broke again. …..the only thing that helped me fix each time was you and claire so i endured…..i escaped when cacoon fell from orbit…..been searching for you two ever since.” he drank his drink and this time ordered a large bottle of whiskey.

Serah looked to the new comer with a bit of a confused expression. He looked oddly familiar, but, she couldn’t exactly name why…..
“Hello there Sir, do you need something?”
“actually yes” he smiled walking up to her. “one i need to know where a bar is so i can get a drink. and two i need you to point me in the direction of serah and claire farron” he stood tall and yawned a bit.
ace’s date with fang
ace stood near her door trying to calm his nerves. this was one of the only times he had ever felt nervous. he took a deep breathe before knocking and holding up a single rose.

he ran from the chocobos. “THEY GOT SOMETHING AGAINST ME!” he tried to dodge as he kept running.
“Awww, lookit that. Ah think they like ya.” He chuckled. “‘Course, if ya wanna help clean up ah can shoo them away.”
he kept running. “KISS MY ASS” he jumped over a fence and ran still before jumping the fence again running towards the house jumping left as the chocobo crashed into fang. “HA!”

“well then im staying here” he sat down. “unless you either get then chocobos away or you get me a cannon and i shoot myself from here” he smiled like an idiot and began whistling.
“Oi, listen’ here you.” He said, marching up to the seated soldier. “Ah dun care what ya do t’ get yerself on home, but unless ya plan on cleanin’ yer mess up…”
He then grabbed the soldier and plopped him on the yard outside.
“…Then ya can stay out here. ‘Sides, what you got ‘gainst chocobo’s?”
he ran from the chocobos. “THEY GOT SOMETHING AGAINST ME!” he tried to dodge as he kept running.

he sighed and picked up his stuff. “common we’ll go to my house okay?” he started walking and smiled.
He smiled brightly and nodded. “Okay!” She happily followed him with her stuff in her hands.
“but when we arrive im taking a shower and then im going to cook dinner so no noisyness” he smiled as they were only alittle way away.

“Alright then!” She giggled softly then looked at him. “You know… I’ll give you that kiss….” She smiled and kissed his cheek. “There..”
he smiled and patted her head as he relaxed. “well we best starts heading home now” he smiled.
“Aww… Do we have to? Mommy and daddy are not home…. I’ll be all alone…” She pouted.
he sighed and picked up his stuff. “common we’ll go to my house okay?” he started walking and smiled.
